SLJ: SLJ: Giuseppe Arcimboldo
Hey everybody todays task for SLJ we had to create a animal with fruits and veggies.
I choose a owl because I usually spent most of my time outside and thought it would be a great idea to create an owl out of Fruit and Veggies.
I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer too.
Great to see you've started some SLJ activities. This is a great post. Your owl looks really cool and the different fruits you used to make it are really clever. I especially like the avocado ears. Are avocados fruit...Yeah I guess so. According to goggle it is and technically "a large berry containing a single large seed".
Great post Joshua, you can do as many SLJ activities as you like and in any order so have a browse and see which ones look fun.
I hope you're having a great summer so far! My favourite part of your fruity owl is the blueberry eyes - it looks like they're looking sideways and the pattern on the pineapple underneath looks like a little smile. I wonder what breed of owl yours would be closest to? Maybe a Madagascar Long Eared Owl?
